- River Arts Festival – Nov. 6 – Nov. 20 … Opening Nov. 6  in Dunnville

Lots of stuff

First off, I apologise for my lack of updates in the past few weeks. I have still been working on my daily paintings, I just haven’t had the time to upload pictures and update this site. I have been pretty freaking busy.

Over the past few weeks, we have sold a house and bought a house. harvested the hay and loaded it into the loft. I finally found a full time job… an hour and a half away… And I have been super busy painting for all of the shows I have this summer.

The first summer show type thing I did was this past weekend. The Scarborough Arts, Art in the park. I sold a bunch of stuff, met a bunch of people and my tent didn’t blow away. So it was a good day.

Here is a picture. You can’t really tell, but I really have to pee.

Also, I have another one of these shows coming up on the 24th at the New Bloor Festival. I will be located in the art court at Bloor and Dufferin. So stop by and check out some of my paintings. And feel free to bring me food or coffee. Ill be sitting in the sun from 9 am to 9pm.

Anyways, here are some paintings to make up for my lack of recent updates.

Painting of the day – and other stuff

Word. So This is not the painting of the day. This is actually a painting I did a few months ago before I made this site, so I figured I would post it. I figure I will post up some old paintings that are still available on the days that I am still working on things.

Anyways, the reason I have not had any new paintings to post for the past few days is that I am working on a very special piece. It is drying right now and getting ready to be shipped out. I feel it is my best work yet and I am really really happy with it. Unfortunately it is part of a fundraising auction that will take place at Gallery One in Toronto, on September 30th And I can’t post any pictures of it until then.

What I can say about the painting is that it is pretty much the greatest thing I have ever done. It is a 10×10 gallery wrapped canvas signed and dated on the back… And….. IT WILL BE SOLD FOR $100!!!!

What a deal. And I know that some of my paintings are in that price range right now. I try to keep my stuff affordable for the average person, but if this one was for sale, I wouldn’t part with it for less than $550. For realz. I love this one.

Anyways, I will have more details about the event in the next few weeks. I just figured I would start spreading the word about the chance to pick up my favorite painting ever at a crazy price, while supporting a great fundraiser.

anyways, here is a painting. These guys are all named “PAT” due to their resemblance of facial expressions with my father.

Hamilton Artcrawl Friday April 9/2010

Word up. So, I have never really been involved in any sort of social art-type event before, But starting tomorrow night and up to April 30th I will have a painting as part of the God Damn Circus art show at the Loose Canon gallery in Hamilton. I believe (but I may be wrong) that it will be part of the Art Crawl tomorrow night, but I really have no clue. I have no idea how it all works but I am going to check it tomorrow night so I have some type of idea of how things work. Hopefully I will eventually figure out how this whole art thing operates.

Hamilton ECO Film & Arts Festival

From April 7th to the 24th,   I will  have a bunch of paintings that I did using recycled material being shown at the 2010 Hamilton ECO Film & Arts Festival. Unfortunately,  I have no clue where they will shown or on what days they will be around. Anyways, if any of you happen to see some of my stuff around town and can forward me a picture, I will love you for life. I’ll send you a woodblock print or something in return.

Here is a link to the schedule for the week.
